Jessica Weister



Jessica Weister, PsyD received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her graduate degrees from Chatham University’s Counseling Psychology program and Duquesne University’s School Psychology program. She completed her predoctoral internship with AMHA and is now currently a full time post-doctoral psychology resident primarily focusing on neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing for children, adolescents and young adults.

Credentials/Professional Background

Dr. Weister is certified in the state of Pennsylvania as an Educational Specialist. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Dr. Weister is currently working towards psychologist licensure and certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).  Past experiences includes working at an early childhood trauma treatment center, numerous schools with students from grades K-12 and an intensive outpatient program for individuals with OCD. 

Special interests

Special interests include working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. Clinical interests include anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurodevelopmental problems such as learning disabilities and ADHD, trauma and the integration of the education and mental health systems.

Things You Would Find Me Doing On the Weekends

Spending time outdoors, reading, snuggling with my husband and our two dogs, home renovation and decorating projects, attempting to cook, traveling, hosting parties and enjoying friends and family.
