Jessica Weister



Jessica Weister, PsyD received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her graduate degrees from Chatham University’s Counseling Psychology program and Duquesne University’s School Psychology program. She completed her predoctoral internship and post doctoral fellowship with AMHA primarily focusing on neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing for children, adolescents and young adults.

Credentials/Professional Background

Dr. Weister is certified in the state of Pennsylvania as an Educational Specialist. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Dr. Weister is currently working towards psychologist licensure and certification in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Past experiences includes working at an early childhood trauma treatment center, numerous schools with students from grades K-12 and an intensive outpatient program for individuals with OCD. In addition to neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing, Dr. Weister also co-facilitates AMHA’s pediatric exposure and response prevention OCD treatment group.

Special interests

Special interests include working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. Clinical interests include anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurodevelopmental problems such as learning disabilities and ADHD, trauma and the integration of the education and mental health systems.

Things You Would Find Me Doing On the Weekends

Reading, shopping, spending time with family and friends, taking walks with my husband and our two dogs, traveling, hosting parties, relaxing outdoors and doing home renovation and decorating projects.
