EDUCATION

Dina Tommasino, LCSW received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Duquesne University and her graduate degree in clinical social work from the University of Pittsburgh.  In addition, Dina is a graduate of the Behavioral Health Fellows Program in the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. 

CREDENTIALS/PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Dina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a certified Nurturing Parenting Facilitator. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the National Alliance for the Education of Young Children and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. In addition, she is pursuing certification as an Addictions Counselor. Dina has 12+ years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in the mental health field.  Ten of these years have been spent as an administrator in various child service systems. Dina had a private practice where she provided individual and family therapy for five years, and was part of the AMHA team from 2007-2008.

SPECIAL INTERESTS

Special interests include working with children, adolescents, young adults and families.  Clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADD/HD, post traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, child abuse and neglect issues, and trauma.

THINGS YOU WOULD FIND ME DOING ON THE WEEKEND

Biking with my husband and children, attending sporting events, exercising and traveling.
