    Rates & Insurance

    AMHA accepts most commercial insurances, Medicare, and Medical Assistance. During the intake phone call with our intake staff, insurance will be discussed to make sure you are in network with the clinician that is the best fit for you. Additionally, billing office staff will check your outpatient mental health insurance benefits and this information will be shared with you. AMHA recommends all potential new clients check their outpatient mental health benefits with their insurance provider. 

    AMHA charges a $25 fee for cancelling less than 24 hours of your appointment.

    AMHA charges a $50 no show fee for not calling to cancel your appointment.

    AMHA accepts cash, checks, most major credit cards,and HSA payments. If you have a deductible, AMHA will submit your claim to your insurance company and will bill you based on the deductible amount provided by your insurance company.

    Payments for copay can be made over the phone to one of our billing staff. Cash, check, or credit card is also accepted at all office locations. Payment is due at the time of service. 

    Clients have the option to choose “private pay” for outpatient therapy at AMHA. If you would like to choose this option, please speak with your therapist at AMHA to determine the “private pay” rate for each appointment.
