    EDUCATION

    I hold a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Penn State University.

    CREDENTIALS/PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

    I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. I have previously worked in community mental health in a higher level-of-care setting (IOP), including a general mood and anxiety program and a program focused on helping those with OCD and anxiety problems. I offer appointments online or in person.  

    TREATMENT MODALITIES: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) for personality disorders and difficulties, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, Psychodynamic Therapy

    SPECIAL INTERESTS

    I specialize in working with adults and adolescents 16 and up with OCD, social anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, body dysmorphia, and emetophobia (fear of vomiting), as well as personality difficulties and disorders, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair-pulling, skin-picking, etc.).
