    EDUCATION

    Dina Tommasino, LCSW received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duquesne University and her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, Dina completed the Behavioral Health Fellows Program in the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

    CREDENTIALS/PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

    Dina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in various treatment environments including private practice, a university counseling center and therapeutic after school program for inner city youth.  In addition to her work in psychological assessment and treatment, Dina spent over 12 years as a Clinical Director for a non-profit mental health agency where she demonstrated administrative, management and direct care experience.  She has expertise in development, implementation, quality assurance and continuous quality improvement processes. Dina has facilitated several psychotherapy groups throughout her career and provides supervision to graduate social work students who are preparing for licensure.

    SPECIAL INTERESTS

    Special interests include working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families.  Clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADD/HD, behavioral disorders, adjustment disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, child abuse and neglect issues and trauma.

    THINGS YOU WOULD FIND ME DOING ON THE WEEKEND

    Spending time with family and friends, attending my kid’s soccer games, hiking, biking, cooking and traveling.
