    EDUCATION

    Jenna Mates, Psy.D. received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University and her graduate degree in School Psychology from Duquesne University. She completed an APA-approved Internship at Andrus Children’s Center/The Orchard School in Yonkers, New York, as well as a Post-doctoral Psychology Fellowship with the CARES Program at Wesley Family Services.

    Credentials/Professional Background

    Jenna is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist in Pennsylvania. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults within various treatment settings, including urban and suburban school settings, a specialized day school for children, a residential treatment program, and an outpatient family service agency. In addition, her training in psychological assessment focused closely on Autism Spectrum Disorder, other developmental disorders, and cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

    Special Interests

    Special interests include working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.  Clinical interests include anxiety, depression,  behavioral disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, as well as interpersonal and family issues.

    Things you would find me doing on the weekend: 

    Spending time with friends and family, exercising, running, traveling, and exploring every new restaurant that Pittsburgh has to offer.
