    Education:

    Rachel Simonds received her PhD in School Psychology at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Rachel completed her predoctoral internship at the Services for Teens at Risk (STAR) Center, which specializes in treating teens and college students with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. She completed her postdoctoral internship at Allegheny Mental Health Associates where she expanded her practice to include adult neuropsychological assessments.

    Credentials/Professional Background

    Rachel continues to conduct neuropsychological assessments for children and adults with various concerns including ADHD, memory problems, learning disabilities etc. Rachel also provides individual therapy for children and young adults, utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy and other approaches to best fit the individual client. 

    Special Interests

    Special interests include working with children, teens, and college students with depression, anxiety, self-harm, and neuropsychological assessment.

    Trying new restaurants, staying active, and snuggling up with her cat.
